South-East London duo Camouflage Children have released a new music video for ‘Luck of the Irish‘, a track taken from their debut mixtape Bangalore Vol. 1 released just over a month ago. Featuring local producer and DJ Yanaku on the boards, the song has a dance-orientated garage beat infused with synthesised J-pop vocals and eerie electronic sustains. This added to the duo’s fluid double-time raps makes for quite an intoxicating musical combo.
LimeTree Productions have put together a beautifully complimentary video showing the duo handing out their mixtapes on a hazy, sun-dappled afternoon in various parts of the capital, from the grimy, graffiti-laden backstreets around Old Street to the eclectic cultural hive of Borough Market.
The video is hosted by UK hip-hop promotions company Black Budget which has been helping the budding duo boost its internet presence. Check it out.
